Banana Blueberry/ Tropical/ Apple Crumble OVERNIGHT OATS

A healthy & delicious breakfast meal made by assembling oats & other ingredients & left overnight in the fridge. This is a no-cook method of making oatmeal! . VEGANS check tips at the end of recipe.

BANANA- BLUEBERRY OVERNIGHT OATS (serves 1)

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup rolled oats (Quaker’s or any brand)  
  • ¼ cup curd, whisked  •½ cup milk or soy milk or almond milk  
  • 1 tsp honey or pure maple extract or stevia  
  • 1 tsp chia seeds or 1 tsp flaxseed powder  
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract 
  • a few banana slices
Toppings  

  • a few banana slices  
  • a few blueberries or grated chocolate/ chocolate chips /peanut butter

Directions

  1. In a bowl/ mason jar, place oats, whisked curd, milk, honey, chia seeds, vanilla extract, banana slices & mix.  
  2. Place in fridge for 8 hours/overnight for best results.  
  3. Just before serving add toppings of your choice.

TROPICAL OVERNIGHT OATS (serves 1) 

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup rolled oats  
  • ¼ cup curd, whisked  
  • ½ cup milk/ soy milk/almond milk  
  • 1 tsp honey or maple extract or stevia  
  • 1 tsp chia seeds  
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract  
  • ½ chopped mangoes/pineapple/apple/banana  
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds 
Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients. Place in fridge for minimum 4 hours or overnight.  
  2. Just before serving, top with sliced kiwi/ pomegranate seeds or any fruit of your choice. 

APPLE CRUMBLE OVERNIGHT OATS (serves 1)

For apple crumble 

  • 1 cup chopped apple  
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar/ brown sugar/ honey  
  • 10 raisins  
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder  
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence  
  • ½ tsp lemon juice 
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Cover the bowl & microwave for 1 minute. Keep aside to cool it.

Other ingredients 

  • ¼ cup rolled oats (Quaker’s or any brand)  
  • ¼ cup curd, whisked  
  • ½ cup milk/ soy milk/almond milk  
  • 1 tsp chia seeds 

Directions

  1. In a bowl or mason jar, place oats, whisked curd, milk, chia seeds and mix.  
  2. Reserve a few apple pieces for the topping & add the remaining along with all the juices to the oats mixture. Mix.  
  3. Top with reserved apple pieces & sliced almonds. 
  4. Place in fridge for 4 hours or overnight.

TIPS For Vegans 

  • Replace curd with same quantity milk of choice. 
  • Overnight oats stays good for 3 to 4 days in the fridge.
